One thing the book did was only really offer us a look at Langdon’s search. At the same time, they need to figure out where Langdon is.
They need to pick up the pieces and get back to work solving the clues.
The rest of the group is recovering from the failed drop at the end of the previous episode. Katherine, Sato, and Nuñez continue to work together on The Lost Symbol He wants to walk like God, and Langdon better hurry up before Peter loses more than just a hand. Sure, he’s been one step ahead of everything Langdon and the others have done so far, but that doesn’t mean he can wait forever for them to solve the clues. How would Langdon be able to get out of the situation he was in? Just how would the meeting between Langdon and Mal’akh go? If you know how the book goes at this point, you’ll likely remember it’s where your heart was in your mouth.
